Company News
The harsh corrosive environment of the ocean has a significant impact on the operational life and navigation performance of ships. In order to slow down the corrosion of ship materials, various protection methods have been adopted from design to manufacturing, such as coating the ship with protective coatings, sacrificing zinc powder through electrochemical reactions or electrical corrosion protection, and using ship materials with strong corrosion resistance. Among them, coating with anti-corrosion coatings is a more commonly used and convenient means of protection. So what are the commonly used ship coatings?
Commonly used include: ship primer, ship bottom anti rust paint, ship waterline paint series, ship shell and superstructure paint, various types of ship cabin paint: ballast water tank paint, oil tank paint, drinking water tank paint, dry cargo tank paint, and a series of coatings.
Workshop primer includes: phenolic modification, phosphating primer, epoxy zinc rich primer, zinc foundation make-up primer.
Anti rust primer includes: zinc phosphate anti rust paint, zinc yellow anti rust paint, epoxy ester primer, and other anti rust paints.
The bottom paint is also used for underwater parts of ships, including anti rust paint and anti fouling paint series.
The anti rust paint on the bottom of the ship also includes:
(1) Asphalt ship bottom anti rust paint, chlorinated rubber ship bottom anti rust paint, epoxy asphalt ship bottom anti rust paint.
(2) Ship bottom anti fouling paint includes: soluble asphalt based copper oxide anti fouling paint.
(3) Contact types include chlorinated rubber and ethylene based cuprous oxide anti fouling paint.
(4) Diffusion type: Organic tin anti fouling paint.
(5) Self polishing anti fouling paint - organic tin high polymer anti fouling paint.
